How To Install a Window Sash Replacement Kit | This Old House


Tom Silva teaches the apprentices how to install new replacement windows which will go into the existing window openings of the original part of the house. The double hung windows are primed on the inside and aluminum clad on the outside. They have a sponge balancing system on each side of the opening where the sashes get snapped into and locked into place. They put one in together.
