How to Install Outdoor LED Lighting | This Old House

He shows apprentice De’Shaun how to cut the two separate wires at different lengths on either end of the connection to make a smaller junction. After twisting the wires together, he solders them and warms up heat shrink to make a watertight junction. Then they install the weatherproof lighting tape right into the track on the underside of the pergola beam.
