Tom Silva and Jeff Sweenor illustrate how to make removable screens for a screened porch. #ThisOldHouse #AskTOH #Pro2Pro SUBSCRIBE to This Old House: http://bit.ly/SubscribeThisOldHouse The net-zero house designed by homeowner and architect Don Powers called for a screened-in porch. Jeff framed the porch with 2x4s, and added a detail that allows for a removable frame. In the end, the screens integrate seamlessly into the overall design of the porch – but they can be repaired easily as needed.
