So, you're going to need a step or a box. Something that you can put all your weight on. Can even be a stack of books. Whatever you find at home that you can put all your weight on. So, for the Step Up it's pretty simple. You're just stepping up on the box or whatever it is that you're using and just stepping right back down. So, when you step up on that box again, always for that sexy butt, you want to press through that heel. Really dig through that heel as you press up. You can step the other foot next to it and then step it right back down. So, you can do this all on one side, just with the right right here. Step up and down. Up, down. Up, down. Right foot steps and then this steps back. Just like that. And then you can do, you know, ten to 12 on that side. And then switch to that left side. Step up and down. Up and down. But again, the key is to really focus on digging through that heel. You can also alternate those legs. So, you can step up with the right and tap down. And then step up with the left and tap down. So, the faster you go with this exercise the more you're going to get that heart pumping, that heart rate up. More of that calorie burn. More of that cardio aspect while you're still also targeting the butt. So again, step up. Dig through the heel and take it back down. Other side. Step it up and then take it back down. And that's how you do a step up for a sexy butt.

How to Install Rough Electricity in New Construction

Ask This Old House master electrician Scott Caron helps a homeowner wire her new basement that she’s in the process of turning into finished space. Click here to SUBSCRIBE to the official This Old House YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=thisoldhouse Time: 6 hours Cost: $100 and up Skill Level: Moderate Tools List for Installing Rough Electricity: Hammer Drill Lineman’s pliers Shopping List: New work electrical boxes 14/2 non-metallic cable Cable staples Wire nuts Steps: 1. Running new electrical work usually requires a building permit. Consult with your local building department for more information. 2. Electrical boxes should be mounted 18” to center off the floor for outlets. Secure the nails in the boxes directly to the studs. 3. Code requires that from any point on the wall, an outlet should be within 6 feet. This is the minimum requirement. 4. Drill a hole in the center of every stud for running wire. 5. Unroll the 14 gauge cable to flatten it, then feed it through the holes in the studs. Run enough wire to reach each box and have some extra slack for working. 6. Attach the cable within 6” of the box using a cable staple. 7. Strip 8” of sheathing off the wire and feed it into the box. 8. In boxes with multiple conductors, splice the bare ground wires together and cap with a green wire nut, leaving one bare wire exposed. 9. Mount an electrical box at 48” to center from the floor for a light switch. 10. Run a wire from the outlet, through the switch box, to the first light fixture. From there, connect the other fixtures with wire. 11. Attach the wires for the lights to ceiling joists with a cable staple. 12. Connect the wires to the light fixtures. 13. Secure the light fixtures in place. 14. Tie the feed wire from the closest outlet to the circuit panel. Ensure power is off at the main shut off. Many new rooms require the use of an arc fault circuit breaker. 15. Tape over the new breaker to ensure the circuit isn’t turned on accidentally before final electrical is in place. 16. Have a local inspector sign off on the electrical work before covering in drywall. Resources: All material including used for this project including outlet boxes, non-metallic wire, staples, AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) breaker, recessed fixture housing and switch can be found at the local home center or the local electrical supply center. There is a theory that everything in the world has already been photographed. So I like to work on the theory "let's push that". Macro, as far as photography is concerned, would have to be the new frontier. If everything in the world has already been photographed, the question is: how can we photograph it differently? Everyone has taken a photo of someone's eyes, in fact, we actually say in photography "miss the eyes, miss the shot".  But what happens if we come in really, really close? The human eye, fruit, macrophotography subjects are absolutely everywhere. If you're looking for something to do on the weekend and you want to get better at macrophotography, practice makes perfect. One of the assignment I routinely send our students is a scavenger hunt. Start with the letter A, then move to B. Work your way through the alphabet and the next week challenge yourself to find something with different letters of the alphabet. Watch how quickly and amazingly your portfolio of macrophotography grows. So remember, macrophotography doesn't need to be limited just to flowers. Everything can be your subject.

How to Understand Different Lenses | Photography Tutorial

Awesome Camera Gear: Canon PowerShot: http://amzn.to/1AcWPdL Portable Printer: http://amzn.to/1EVfbvq64 Gig Memory Card: http://amzn.to/1FrNKhk Canon EOS 7D: http://amzn.to/1PvfhoRSelfie Stick: http://amzn.to/1dhLLSC Hero Go Pro: http://amzn.to/1Ehu8Y1Droid Fish Eyes: http://amzn.to/1Ehu8Y1 Fuji Instant Camera: http://amzn.to/1cN5WGUBOSE Headphones: http://amzn.to/1JwPuHR Want to improve your Photography? You've got to keep in mind that no lens is designed to be efficient and wonderful at absolutely every stall of photography. Different lenses have different uses. The way I like to explain it is lenses are like doctors. So a lens that can do everything the you know eighteen to two hundred and fifty or eighteen to three hundred lens that is good for travelling, good for portraits isn't going to be great at any one of those things. It's the GP. It's the doctor you go for a check-up or a flu shot. But let's say that doctor finds something wrong and they want to send you to a specialist. That's where the different lenses come in. For example a one 180 mm micro lens. This lens does one thing. It does microphotography and it does it without zooming in. It's the specialist micro lens. As a result even though that 18-300 consume a distance much, the quality of this lens is going to be so much better. The lesser lens can do the more it does any one thing well. As a result i generally carry 4 lenses in my kit. I have my 16-35 landscape lens. This lens is designed for landscapes.  With a landscape lens you want it to be as wide as possible 10-22, 16-35. With a portrait lens it generally wants something around that 50 mm range. 50 mm lenses are amongst the best lenses for portrait photography. And the reason for that is the human eye is actually a 50 mm lens. If you take a photo of 50 mm and compare it with what exactly is in front of you. You will notice the perspective is exactly the  same. Other lenses that I use for portrait are something like 70-200 mm lens which a which allows me to zoom in from further away and get nice scanned photographs. A 100-400 lens is good for wildlife. But at the end of the day the lens are used to be right for what I am photographing in order to get an absolutely fantastic shot for that I am happy to hang on my wall or sell to my customers.

Well, this is a favorite subject of mine, because I tend to love dinners. I love the idea of juicing during the day, and having a beautiful dinner at night. It's a great way to balance the detox lifestyle with yummy, comforting, earthy, grounding foods in the evening. A few things to think about. One is, to make the focal point of your meal a raw vegetable salad. Second thing is, if you want to have cooked food in your meal, choose the most easy to digest cooked food , preferably in the vegetable kingdom. For example, some yummy baked, or lightly sauteed vegetables. If you're going to saute vegetables, I recommend using a little bit of organic butter, or coconut oil over any other oil, because most oils will mutate at high temperatures. Olive oil included, is not a beneficial oil to cook with. It's better to use a little bit of butter. If you'd like, say, more than vegetables, think again of things that are really easy to digest, and make sure that you don't miscombine your food, because you don't want to create an unnecessary digestive burden. The idea behind detox dinner, is a dinner that's very easy to digest, which will enable your body to do the detoxifying while you're sleeping, and while you're going about your day the next day. An ideal dinner might look something like a big raw salad with avocado, and steamed vegetables, and a baked diane [SP], with a little pad of organic butter, or coconut oil. If you visit us at detoxtheworld.com, you'll find many recipes for a delicious detox dinner, and if you follow us on Facebook and sign up for our newsletter, you'll find even more inspirational recipes to enjoy at any time of day, but especially in the evening meal.

Window air conditioners install in a window and vent hot air and condensate directly out of the back of the unit. 2. Portable air conditioners sit on the floor and vent through a flexible duct. They need to be emptied to drain the condensate. 3. Evaporative coolers cool by using ice and water. They leave behind humidity. 4. Newer air conditioners may include smart functionality to allow control from a smart phone. Resources: Window and portable air conditioners are available at home centers. Swamp coolers are available at home centers in the American Southwest, but are not recommended in other regions as they add humidity to the air. Is Alcoholism a Disease? | Alcoholism

Alcoholism is disease, here’s some resources to help you fight back: Responsible Drinking: A Moderation Management Approach http://amzn.to/1ZdgP9f I Need to Stop Drinking!: How to get back your self-respect. http://amzn.to/1VEqbeU Why You Drink and How to Stop: A Journey to Freedom: http://amzn.to/1Q8pAv2 Alcoholics Anonymous: The Big Book: http://amzn.to/1N0rttl Alcoholics: Dealing With an Alcoholic Family Member, Friend or Someone You Love: http://amzn.to/1j9cvH4 Watch more How to Understand Alcoholism videos: https://ift.tt/2xggIBL There's been an age old question about whether alcohol problems are a disease. We don't use the term alcoholism anymore. We use the term alcohol use disorder and there's been controversy and questions for a long time about whether it's actually disease or whether it's just a behavioral issue and perhaps some people view it as a moral issue. This has been a question that's been posed for years and years. The AA, the Alcoholics Anonymous 12 step communities, have always viewed alcoholism as a disease. In the medical community, we generally also adhere to what's called a disease model of alcohol, of alcohol abuse and disorder. Disease model meaning that it is a brain disorder. It changes the brain and we do know now that there are genetic predispositions to alcohol abuse or dependence. We see often that alcoholism runs in families and there has been controversy over this and some people believes it runs in families because of social issues, that it's actually if there's one person in a family or two people who drink a lot that it means there's more permission for people to drink a lot and over drink. However, again, we do know now that there are genetic predispositions. We are working hard to identify genes for all kinds of addictions so we do regard alcoholism in the field as a disease and part of that is like other diseases that we know alcohol problems can be progressive and as people continue to drink over the course of their life, their alcohol issues get worse. You see people, we see people all the time who have very severe consequences of alcohol use: medical issues, problems with their liver, problems with their kidneys but they still continue to drink and that happens a lot. We often make references to similarities between alcohol and other drug use and diabetes. Diabetes is a chronic illness that it can be progressive if it's not taken care of. Again, we often see people who they continue to eat the wrong foods when they're diabetic so it's very similar with alcohol in spite of the evidence, whether that's social or medical evidence, people are still compelled to drink, which seems quite irrational but and it may be irrational but it's not just a cognitive and a moral issue. There's something that happens in people's brains that compels them to really want and need to continue drinking in spite of all of the negative evidence.

How Does a Touchstone Work?

Before the use of coins and currency was established, how did Merchants and Traders determine the quality and validity of precious metals being offered to them in trade for goods and services? Lloyd from the Lindybeige Channel explains how this worked. Modern methods to examine the molecular structure of things can be done non-destructively by a method called X-Ray Fluorescence. Before that, Nitric Acid was used to determine the quality of precious metal such as gold. Long ago, the use of a stone called a Touchstone was used to tell the difference between an item the user knew was authentic with a precious metal being offered to them. Today, the term touchstone has endured to mean something a person can rely on as a gauge of quality. Hidden Alcohol Abuse in Women | Alcoholism

Alcoholism is disease, here’s some resources to help you fight back: Responsible Drinking: A Moderation Management Approach http://amzn.to/1ZdgP9f I Need to Stop Drinking!: How to get back your self-respect. http://amzn.to/1VEqbeU Why You Drink and How to Stop: A Journey to Freedom: http://amzn.to/1Q8pAv2 Alcoholics Anonymous: The Big Book: http://amzn.to/1N0rttl Alcoholics: Dealing With an Alcoholic Family Member, Friend or Someone You Love: http://amzn.to/1j9cvH4 Watch more How to Understand Alcoholism videos: https://ift.tt/2N8aRct I'm often asked about the differences in men versus women. That it seems like there's more male alcoholics then there are women. Well, in fact from what we know, that is true, there are more men who are identified as having alcohol use disorders than women. However, there is a phenomenon with women of that's been identified of hidden alcohol problems in women. Now, why is that? Well, what we find is that for women it's less socially acceptable for women to be drinking then for men. So, women often hide their drinking. They often will, there's pressure on women often to look good, to be the everything. To be, you know, the working woman, but also women we do know still even where there's part two partners who both work full-time, what we know is women still carry the burden in the home in a disproportionate way versus their male companions in the home. So, women have a lot of pressure to kind of be all things to all people. And often women will succumb to pressure and misuse alcohol, but hide it. And so what we find is that there might be a lot of women out there with alcohol use problems who are not coming forward, because of, there's a lot of stigma and shame that goes along with substance abuse in the world, and in our society. But it's greater for women then for men. So, that might be one of the reasons that we actually see more men in treatment. And perhaps there aren't really more males out there with alcohol problems then women, but it may just be that they present more to treatment, because they're more open about their drinking.

I'm the author of "Secret Tips and Tricks of a Powerful Memory," and the question is raised about the association between drinking alcohol and your memory. Let me give you the answer. Don't do it. If you have something you need to remember, from my personal experience, I know that it has a very severe negative impact. Let me go a step further, take it to the extreme. The late, great chess player, probably the best chess player of all time, Bobby Fischer would not drink alcohol at all. I personally heard an interview where he said he wouldn't take an aspirin for several days before a tournament. Aspirin thins your blood, perhaps less oxygen to the brain. Bottom line is this, I'm not a teetotaler. If you want a drink, have a drink. But if you have something important to remember, stay away until after you've taken care of that matter.

My names Dhiran Mistry and I work at the John Barrett Salon Bergdorf Goodman. I'm here today with Cassie to show you some curly hair up-dos. At the moment, Cassie's hair is already curly. She has great curly hair, which makes this a lot easier to work with. What I'm going to do is just show you some really simple ways of pinning up hair, they're very, very simple anything you can do at home. All you need is a few bobby pins, there doesn't necessarily have to be a structure to this. All you have to do is grab pieces, as you see them and just pull them up. I'm going to start at the bottom, just to get the hair off the neck, because we're going to do a complete up-do. If I split the hair in half, I'm going to life all of this out the way and pin it. Then, what we're going to do is take some of these pieces at the back and just twist them around your hands. I'm going to take this and twist it around my hand and pin it, so you want to press the pin in against the scalp, like so. This will be a good base to hold the other pins that we pin up afterwards. Again, just twist it around. Now, we've created more of a base, I can use that to pin the other parts of the hair into it. Really, you could do this with as little as five or six pins. I'm going to take this and pin it around like that. I'm just grabbing bits of hair, looping them around with the pin and just popping them in. The great thing about this is you never see the pins. Then, once you've finished, you can just pull bits out and manipulate them to create the right shape that you want. I don't want it to be to big on the sides, because Cassie has a great face, we don't it to look to big. Obviously, its going to look to like 80s if she gets massive curls, so we want to keep it under control while still having a nice form to it. Then, you can always add a bit of hair spray at the end. If this was more of a daytime thing, then you probably don't want to put to much hair spray, because you might want to pull the pins out later and rock some big curls. There we have it, this is how you do a curly up-do.  [Music]

How to Choose the Right Insulation

Ask This Old House general contractor Tom Silva discusses the options for insulation with host Kevin O’Connor. Click here to SUBSCRIBE to the official This Old House YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=thisoldhouse Cost: Varies by Insulation Choice and Application Skill Level: Moderate to Professional Steps: 1. Fiberglass insulation is sold by wall thickness and that should be adhered to so the insulation doesn’t get compressed and lose effectiveness. 2. Closed cell spray foam has a higher R-factor per inch, but it is more expensive. 4. When retrofitting, cellulose, made from recycled newspaper, can be dense packed into the stud bays. It’s treated with borate for insect and fire resistance. Resources: Tom showed Kevin 3 types of insulation: Spray foam, fiberglass and blown-in cellulose.
