Kevin and Tommy revisit the 2005 Cambridge modern house.

In honor of our 40th anniversary season, Kevin and Tommy will present a live social media event featuring a “behind the scenes” of our 2005 Cambridge Modern project. They’ll discuss the changes Tommy’s crew made to a house that was literally falling apart and recall the major challenges throughout the renovation. The Cambridge Modern house was the ugly duckling; a dark box with vertical siding amidst a neighborhood full of beautiful Victorians. Through the careful architectural design process of adding square footage on an already tight lot, as well as extensive repair to the tired and outdated existing structure, the team was able to create bright and open living spaces that transformed the home from dated retro to inspired modern.
