To ask for one coffee with milk and sugar, please. You say: It's a little lengthy but let's work on it. The first word is yea-dnaw. The J sound like "y"s. And then the "a" with the accent underneath it is an ""aw". So it's yea-dnaw. yea-dnaw kah-ve. "W" sound like "v"s. So it's kah-ve. Yea-dnaw kah-ve z mlekyem ee tsoo-krem pro-sheh. The "sze" is a "sh" sound and the "e" with the accent is an "em". So it's "pro-sheh". So altogether Yea-dnaw kah-ve z mlekyem ee tsoo-krem pro-sheh. At full speed it sounds like this: So take your time, but I want to hear you try it. That's sounds great. Awesome. To say, One black coffee, please, you say: pro-sheh yea-dnaw tcharnaw kaveh. So let's break it down: pro-sheh; the "se" makes a "sh" sound. And the "e" with the accent is an "em". So it's pro-sheh. The "j"s are like "y"s, "yea" the "naw" and the "a" with the accent at the end is an "aw" sound. So "yea" the "naw". Pro-sheh yea-dnaw. The "cz" is a "ch" sound and then you have the "a" with the accent again so it's "aw". So it's "charnaw". So pro-sheh yea-dnaw tcharnaw kaveh. The "w"s are "v"s. "kaveh". So one more time: Now go ahead, ask me for a black coffee: Very good. To say, large coffee. You say: doo-zaw kaveh. Let's break this down. Large is "doo-zaw. The "z" with the dot over it is the "z" accent. And then the "a" with the accent under it is an "aw". So doo-zaw kaveh. "W" sound like "v"s in American. So together: Go ahead. Give it a shot. Very good. To say, medium coffee, you say: shred-nyaw kaveh. This one sounds a lot tougher than it is. The first word, shred-nyaw, the "s" with the accent is a "sh". And then the "a" with the accent at the end is "aw". shred-nyaw. The key is to roll the "r". shred-nyaw. And then kaveh. The "w"s are "v"s. Shred-nyaw kaveh. One more time: Give it a shot. Very good. To say, small coffee, you say: mawah kaveh This one is pretty easy. The first word mawah. The "l" with an accent line through it is a "wah" sound. And then the "a" with an accent is an "awe". So all of these is "mawah". And then "kaveh". The "w" sound like "v"s in Polish. Kaveh. Mawah kaveh. Go ahead, say small coffee. You got it, that was great. And that's how you order coffee.
