Having said that, it can also be quite simple. Firstly, it doesn't need to be green. Any solid color with contrast will allow you to select the subjects in your photograph to transport them to something else. It's also really important to try and pick good backgrounds. Something that's going to suit. This was taken from ComicCon, where a lot of cosplayers are running around, having a fantastic time, as were we, taking their photographs. So, with something like that, I wanted a, a psychotic background to put it on, as you can see. What you've got to be careful of, when you're working with greenscreen, is that you are getting every element using, you can use the magic wand tool in PhotoShop, you can use the quick selecter tool. I like quick selecter. And that let's you pick just what you need, and remove what you don't need, from the photograph. Like I said, it doesn't need to be green. Any color that's contrasting against your subject will allow you to select it. Once it's selected, it's quite simply a matter of copying it on to a new layer, and ammending any of the lighting that you need, or the exposure that you need, so that it blends nicely in with your background. At the end of the day, you want the background and the foreground to appear fairly seamless. But it is a lot of fun. You can take photos of yourself and put them in Egypt, or put them in Paris. Have a bit of fun with greenscreen, have a bit of fun with Photoshop layers. A final thing to keep in mind, when you're shooting with greenscreen, is to keep your subjects evenly and well lit. Keep it as uniform as possible. Any shadows that you have appearing on your greenscreen are going to make it a little bit harder for you to select that part of the image. If there is a little bit of shadow at the feet, it's okay to leave that in because, at the end of the day, we want a level of three dimensionality in our photograph.

Alcohol dementia refers to a brain disorder that can occur through long exposure to alcohol. Alcohol dementia, you generally see in people who have been abusing alcohol at high levels for a very long time. People don't get alcohol dementia early on in their alcohol abuse. Again, alcohol dementia only occurs over the course of a long time So you often see alcohol dementia in people who are a bit older. Alcohol dementia, like other dementia, is an impairment in cognition where there will be a change in the brain's functioning. And usually it's a permanent change because of the death of actual brain cells and the changes in the vascular structure of the brain. In other words, the blood flow to the brain changes, and it causes the dementia which can show in people by them over time, just like in other dementias, through memory loss, through lack of recognition, through other people and of their own experiences. Alcohol dementia is chronic, it's permanent, and it's, again, in the extreme forms of long-term severe alcohol use.

And given the size of shopping malls and other situations, it's a common question. Here's the answer: Most large parking lots have signs. Look up on the top of the lamppost and you'll see A4, B3, what have you. Make those numbers into a picture related to your car. If you are in section A4; A, apple, 4 - well let's use a simple rhyming scheme - one, two, buckle my shoe. Three, four, close the door. Apple, door. I'm going to take a giant apple in my mind, put it by my open car door, and smash the car door into it. The apple is going to spray juicy, ugly bits of apple all over the inside and outside of my car. Apple, door, A4. When I'm ready to leave that shopping mall, where's my car? I'm going to see that. I'm going to see that picture. I use this all the time. Obviously, if there aren't signs with those markers such as A4, and B3, or whatever else, maybe you're near a certain store. Just picture yourself driving through the display window of that store. Pick some silly, stupid, manufactured picture. See the picture for a moment: Don't just say the words. And I guarantee you, you will find your way back to your car.

How to Paint a Room Like a Pro

Before starting work, remove or protect any furniture in the room with drop cloths. Protect where the floor meets the wall with painter’s tape. 2. When painting, always start at the top of the room and work your way down. Always pour paint into a separate container. 3. Paint the ceiling with a matte paint and the roller. 4. Paint the trim, including window trim, chair rails, and door casings with a semi-gloss paint and a 1 ½” synthetic paint brush. Start from the top and work down. 5. For painting around windows, apply a liquid mask to the glass with a paint brush instead of using painter’s tape. The liquid acts like a spot primer if it gets on the sash, and it will protect the glass while painting. 6. Once the mask turns clear, add a second coat and wait for that to turn clear as well. 7. Paint the window frame, starting from the inside closest to the glass, and work your way out. To keep paint from getting into the cracks between the window and the jamb, slide a putty knife in the crack and drag it down as you paint. Add a paint additive if necessary to thin out the paint being applied around the windows. 8. Once the window frame is painted, paint the casing, then the window sill. For the side of the casing, keep the brush parallel to the wall and drag the brush all the way down the side of the casing. 9. Apply a second coat to the window trim, chair rails, and door casings. 10. Paint the walls using eggshell paint in most rooms. Low traffic rooms, like a bedroom, can use a matte finish. 11. Cut the edges around the walls with a 2 ½” synthetic brush. Carefully drag the brush in a motion away from the ceiling and trim to prevent it from spilling over. 12. Paint the rest of the walls with a microfiber roller. 13. Before applying the final coat, using paintable caulking to fill in any gaps between trim, baseboards, etc. 14. Apply a second coat to the walls. 15. Clean up the drop cloths and painter’s tape. To remove the liquid mask, cut around the glass with a utility knife and peel it back slowly. The trim had a semi-gloss finish and the walls had an eggshell finish. When dealing with water issues, start from the main water shut off and work your way back. Identify any areas where air is introduced to the system. 2. Check any potential obstructions in the water line. If there’s a filter, a pump, or anything other than a water line, check to make sure it’s working properly. 3. Water filters are naturally designed to clog, so be sure to check them often and change them regularly, as that could cause obstructions. 4. It’s also possible to put flow restrictors on the water line, which could be a simple ball valve with the handle removed, to control how much water enters and leaves various parts of the system, like a radon mitigation unit. Cut the line in the desired area and solder the valve in. Once the valve is set to the desired setting, remove the handle to prevent accidental changes to the valve. 5. If water flow is an issue, identify appliances that use an excess amount of water and consider replacing them with water conserving appliances. Resources: Richard added a ball valve to act as a flow restrictor, which can be found at home centers and plumbing supply stores. Richard recommends that homeowners test their water for radon. Those kits can be purchased at home centers and have easy-to-follow instructions. Code requires stair railings to be between 34”-38” away from the stair treads. 2. With open risers, the maximum gap allowed between treads is 4”. To tighten a gap, close in the riser or add material to the top of each step. 3. Balusters and cable railings also need to be a maximum of 4” apart. 4. If you come across a house with a staircase that isn’t to code, you can either ask the seller to fix the staircase, or negotiate a lower selling price accounting for the amount it will cost to fix it. 5. These code violations are particularly dangerous for the elderly and for infants. The stair railing needs to be easily grasped, especially in case of a fall. Toddlers can get their heads stuck between railings and treads and suffocate if the gaps are more than 4”. 6. If you don’t have young children or elderly living with you, you could always consider moving in at your own risk. However, this is an issue that should definitely be resolved at some point once you’re in the house. One, how important is the crowd and the ambiance in the photograph? And two, what sort of environment are you shooting in? For example, Here at Madison Square Garden, shooting the Harlem Globe Trotters, the crowd weren't too important. It wasn't bad to have that nice shallow aperture to create that little bit of a blur. The other benefit of doing so, was that it allowed me to have a faster shutter speed. Remembering that your aperture works in balance with your shutter speed, and your ISO to create the exposure, allows me to think, a shallow aperture, faster shutter speed. When photographing sports its really about that shutter speed, and the shallower aperture allowed me to shoot faster. You'll also get other aspects coming out of that, and you'll notice other players on the court, perhaps a little bit blurrier, as they're in that, outside of that shallow depth of field. That's okay, when shooting sports, as long as our balls in focus, and the player we're photographing right at that minute is in focus, unless they're going for something a little bit different, that's the end result, and a shallow aperture allows us to do that.

Statistics show that between 20 to 80 percent of men cheat on their partners during their lifetime, depending on the population studies and the type of study done. About 10 to 60 percent of women cheat on their partners, again depending on the population during their lifetime. If you average these statistics, one half of men and about one third of women cheat on their partners. These statistics may be under inflated, because a lot of people are not honest about their infidelity, or they do not define some of their encounters as infidelity per say. I think the statistic is actually a little bit higher. I think about close to 80 percent of men and 60 percent of women engage in some sort of adulterous or cheating behavior during their lifetime. Usually, infidelity statistics are higher for younger people than older people. Much of that is driven by our hormones; testosterone for men and testosterone, estrogen, progesterone for women. There are other critical times during people's lifetime when they are more likely to engage in infidelity, such as mid-life crisis, when children leave home, and other important times in their lives, retirement and so forth. However, it seems like younger people are more predisposed to cheating than older people are.

I'm going to provide you with some top tips for handling anger. So the first thing we know that's important for any kind of behavior change is in fact to be motivated. Particularly around the issue of anger, many people say they want to manage their anger but it's really coming from an external source. It might be an employer, it might be their spouse or their family members. It's a really good idea if you're gonna make lasting behavior changes that you, in fact, are motivated internally. One way to go about this, in fact, is to look at what are the consequences of your anger-related behaviors. When I speak to people with that particular tone or I use profanity or I yell or I destroy property by throwing a phone or something like that, what are the real consequences. It's important to look at the short-term and long-term consequences. So anytime I'm starting with an anger management group, I have them really pay attention to what the consequences of their actions are and make lists of the short and long term factors that are important. What that typically does is it helps them to become motivated themselves internally and that's important. The second tip is to really begin a very serious program of self-monitoring. To begin to really understand what are the internal factors and the external factors that make anger issues more likely. So for instance, I have clients pay attention to how long it's been since they've eaten, time of day, location, what people are present, or particular situations whether it's financial stress or a project at work or a problem with the kids that make aggressive behaviors or other anger management issues more likely. So through this self-monitoring, they become very aware of what's going on for them that puts them in what I call a risk window. So what I want to do is through self-monitoring, we have people then begin to notice, "Here are the early warning signs. I'm gonna be angry. Now I've got to sort of stop and do something to rejuvenate myself and replenish." The third tip is in fact finding things that kind of replenish our resources, because for the most part anger management issues are really about behavior. They're about behaviors that are driven by urges. So what we know is when anger comes into play and becomes quite intense, we often times have urges to be aggressive, maybe have revenge fantasies and things like that, or we may engage in impulsive behaviors. What we know though is that we can increase our self-regulation, sort of capacity to hold back acting on those urges by doing certain things. Those kinds of things are positive experiences -- doing things that are fun, engaging in a relaxation exercise. So we want to make sure that people really learn to involve themselves in recreation, they get social support, they learn to relax using a breathing exercise, or do something, so that when they're monitoring, and they catch their temperature rising, and they're getting in greater and greater risk of engaging in a maladaptive way, they can bring their temperature down by doing something that's more positive, something that's relaxing. Another important tip is that we know, for anger, that beliefs and expectations really drive it. There certainly are triggers that are going to upset everyone and possibly lead to anger, but we also know that very, very rigid, unrealistic, irrational beliefs, and unrealistic expectations lead to higher levels of anger and make it more likely for most of us that we're going to behave aggressively. So it's important through the self-monitoring that we also are paying attention to our hostile, angry thoughts and those that are rigid and dogmatic. By beginning to understand what they are and how they're related to our anger, we can then one be on the lookout for them and see them coming so that we can be more hyper-vigilant about making sure during those times we're not going to act in an aggressive manner. By recording them, we can learn later to challenge them and to come up with realistic rational alternatives. Now it's not as simple as just identifying a rational alternative as if that's somehow going to replace it. What we want to do is

The simplest way to refresh a kitchen is by replacing the faucet. Most new faucets come with cover plates to hide holes from old hot and cold lines. 2. If there are holes in the sink from an old spray nozzle, they sell soap dispensers and water filters that can fit in those holes as a replacement. 3. Another way to update a kitchen is by changing out the sink. The most common types of sinks include self-rimming (or surface mounted) sinks and under-mounted sinks. Because the way the holes are cut in countertops, it’s hard to switch between the two types of sinks without also replacing the countertop. For laminate countertops, stick with a surface mounted sink. 4. Replacing the countertops is a slightly more expensive way to update the look of a kitchen. Stone countertops come in a variety of styles and colors that range in price based on how readily available they are for quarrying. Put grass seed in the spreader and apply it to the lawn. Use the back of the rake to work it in. 5. Give everything a good watering. Roger then applied compost, which is available at home centers and garden centers. Roger applied Turf Builder Starter Food for New Grass, which is a fertilizer high in phosphorous to promote root growth. That's okay." Once your child is comfortable sitting on the potty and having successes in the potty, then you can work on how she can communicate the need to use the potty. She can learn to communicate with you by pointing to the potty, by using a picture to communicate her need to use the potty, or by using a sign to use the potty. Other times children have been able to use an iPad or another communication device to tell the parent that they need to go pee in the potty. So either way, if your child doesn't have any language, they can still be potty-trained. Typically, kids have language skills before they're potty-trained, but if your child is a special needs child and doesn't have communication yet, it's okay to go ahead and train them before they can communicate with you. Occasionally, young children who don't have much language yet can still be potty-trained. You can teach them how to signal you with a point or a sign or, again, they can use pictures to communicate their need to use the potty. Whether your child is 18 months or five years old, it doesn't matter if they have the language to communicate with you, they can still be potty-trained.

I'm a clinical psychologist and I have a private practice in New York City. I'm going to speak to you a little bit about some statements that can be used for assertive communication. There are lots of varieties of ways to approach a sort of communication and there are plenty of other guidelines that are important, but there are some simple techniques you can use, and I'm gonna give you one, which are four simple communication statements that you can use that allow you to assertively, respectfully and effectively communicate to another person what your thoughts and feelings might be, why they are that way and what you'd like to be done about it. So the first thing is you definitely want to make sure that you pick the right time and that means you might want to speak to that person about, for instance, "I have something to talk to you about and I want to see when a good time would be for us to sit down and talk about it," because the last thing you want is to engage in assertive communication when that person isn't really ready to hear you. They might come off as defensive and you end up causing more problems than you had before you started. So, first, ask for a good time. The second is, as much as possible, we want to use the first person. So that means I want to be using I statements and want to refrain from using the word "you did this", using the word "you", the second person, because typically when someone hears someone else say, "You did this wrong," they really stop listening and they start thinking about how they're going to defend themselves. What we're really looking to do is to help that person open up and understand what it is that is upsetting to you without laying a blame, because in terms of anger management, what we know is while other people tend to do things before we become angry, it's the combination of what they have done and our belief or interpretation that leads to the anger. So instead of saying, "You caused my anger," I can say something along the lines of, "I felt angry after this occurred." There's a temporal relationship meaning there's a time relationship, but I'm not actually saying what exactly was the cause and so the four statements take that into consideration. So here are the statements. First, we specify the situation and in general with assertiveness, we want to be as concise as possible. Especially in this day and age, people do not have the bandwidth to keep their attention on your for a very long especially when it's a charged situation and you're possibly asking them for time. So short and sweet. "When I saw the towels all over the floor..." I have now described the situation, I've used the first person and I haven't said you did it, because I don't know who did it. "When I saw the towels all over the floor," second statement, "I felt angry. I felt annoyed. I felt anxious." I've stated my feeling in the first person. Again I haven't blamed you for it. I've simply described, "This is what occurred and here's the feeling afterwards." The third statements is somewhat optional, and that's where I say, "I felt annoyed because..." and there's a temptation here to lay blame but this is really where I, in fact, want to take some responsibility if I choose to use this statement and maybe talk about how this is a belief that I had that might be a little extreme or rigid showing that to some extent I do have some responsibility or at least filters in place that also influence my feeling state. So I might say, "Because I have this crazy idea, a messy bathroom means I'm a bad person or a lazy person or something like that," and I put myself down. So we have when the situation, I feel the emotion because and a belief that I have that might be making it worse. Again that one is optional. Finally what I would like and what I would appreciate is if it could be explained to me how that happened or if we could agree to maybe share the responsibility of going about maintaining the bathroom. So we have when in the situation, I feel and the emotion because and a belief that I have that might be intensifying that emotion, and then finally a very specific concrete request. What I would like or appreciate is specifically

Decide where the rain chain will be hung and install a downspout outlet in the gutter in the desired location. 2. Dig a hole slightly wider than the width of your pot and at least 6” deep directly underneath the downspout outlet. 3. Fill the hole with the ¾” stone. 4. Flip the pot upside down and drill a few drainage holes with a masonry drill. 5. Put the pot in place on top of the hole filled with stone. 6. Next, hang the rain chain. Most rain chains usually come with specific installation instructions. It should hook right into the downspout outlet. 7. Once the rain chain in hung, put the chain in the pot and fill the pot about ¾ of the way with the ¾” stone. 8. Fill the pot the rest of the way with the river stones. Shut the hot and cold water lines off. 2. Disconnect the sink from the P-trap and break the hose connections to the faucet. 3. Use the utility knife to break the seal between the sink and the countertop. Then, carefully pry the sink away from the countertop with a hammer and a pry bar. 4. Remove the screws holding the vanity to the wall and remove the vanity. 5. Shut the water off to the house and cut the hot and cold water lines. Cut the P-trap as well. This will make it so only small holes need to be cut in the back of the new vanity. 6. Measure the distance from the wall to the hot line and cold line. Next, measure the distance from the floor to the hot and cold lines. Transfer these measurements to the back of the vanity and cut out holes with the hole saw. 7. Move the new vanity into place. Check it for level and screw it into the wall. 8. Connect new shut off valves to the hot and cold lines. 9. Flip the countertop upside down and mount the sink to the countertop with silicone caulking and sink clips. 10. Connect the faucet to the countertop using the plumber’s putty and the mounting brackets. 11. Connect the hot and cold water lines to the faucet, then connect the drain pipe and the pop up drain. 12. Once all the connections are made, flip the counter right side up and place it on the cabinet. 13. Make a new P-trap connection with the drain and connect the hot and cold water lines to the shut off valves. 14. Turn the water back on. Create additional shelving by mounting shelf racks to studs against the wall. The racks should come with mounting brackets designed to hold a shelf. 2. If the studs are located in a less-than-ideal location, there are brackets designed to receive the mounting shelf racks. The brackets can be screwed to structure and the racks can slide in the bracket as necessary. 3. The mounting shelf racks can also hold hook or basket attachments. 4. There are also wire shelves that can be held in with small plastic brackets that connect to the shelf at any location, allowing the brackets to easily be mounted to structure.
